Our 5th graders will take the math STAAR on Tuesday and the reading STAAR on Wednesday.  Please make sure your child gets a good night sleep the night before.  Please send them to school with a healthy snack and make sure they eat a good breakfast.  Good luck to all!!!!

Every student has a username and password for Reflexmath.com.  If your child does not know the username or password please email me and I will send it to you.  This website is great for practicing multiplication facts and now is a great time to work through the program and finish.  Middle school math teachers expect all 6th graders to be fluent when multiplying 0-12 and fluency will help a great deal when taking the STAAR math test this spring.

Multiplying Fractions.  We worked on this today so please ask to see your student’s progress on 6.1.  All students must show work and create a model to show the math problem.  You can find the movie under the math tab.  Scroll way down until you see the title for 6.1 Multiplying Fractions.  Thanks for your support.
